Q) When I try to apply the patch for my program, I get a message that it can not delete target files.  What can I do about it?

A) This error occurs because the patch program is trying to update files that are in use by the application.  To patch the program:

  1. Cancel the patch program.
  2. Open the application (WizMag, CertPay, Direct Deposit, etc.)
  3. When the Check for Updates window appears, click Cancel.
  4. Once in the application click Help, then Check for Updates.
  5. Click Next on the Check for Updates window.  It will let you know if there is a newer release on our web site.  If so, click Next to download the patch.
  6. Once the patch is downloaded, it will prompt you to close the application before applying the patch.  Close the application and click Retry on the patch window to start the patch installation.
